Milpara Community House in Korumburra is holding a Work Readiness course commencing on February 8th. The course will run for 8 consecutive Wednesdays from 9.30am – 12.30pm and on completion, participants will have gained skills in job selection, letter and resume preparation and interview techniques. The Toora Pool Committee is hosting its Annual Open Air Movie Night on Friday the 10th of February The movie is “We Bought a Zoo” , starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson..

Start’s the year’s entertainment with a mixed bag of performers, some old, Anne Hoyne from the very first night in 1984, some new including Reece Hank’s group Moon Unit and Hayman Kent, she sang at Moo’s
birthday bash before Christmas and another Meeniyan group Serenity making their first Tavern appearance.

The Phillip Island Nature Parks are conducting a couple of Dad’s and Lads weekends on the 11th and 12th and 18th and 19th of February.
Camping at Churchill Island and a visit to all the nature parks and Penguin Reserve are among the Highlights.
